Thompson Technique

The Thompson Technique utilizes a unique table to enhance the directed force towards the segment or region to be adjusted. Dr. Thompson developed his table by inventing a headpiece that would drop away as pressure is applied. A patent was granted in 1955 on the Palmer-Thompson drop headpiece. The majority of the spinal adjusting using the Thompson Technique has the patient lying face down.
